Program Info
Peanut (u7) and Tyke (u5) Program
Our program for U7 and U5 players runs from mid May until late July. All sessions are held in Embro on Wednesday evenings and include a practice followed by a game. For the U7 games, referees introduce players to basic rules, such as goal kicks and corner kicks. U7 players may participate in a tournament with other centres in early June if there is sufficient interest to make a team
U9 Program
Our program for U9 players runs from mid May until late July. On Tuesday evenings, house-league games are played in Embro, on fields that are approximately half-size of a regulation field. Players are introduced to all the rules of soccer, including thrown-ins and offside. On Thursday evenings, U9 players can represent Embro in the InterCounty League. Some games are held in Embro while some games are held in other centres. Games are typically played 9 a side with a referee. The U9 team(s) playing in the InterCounty League will play a League Tournament on a Saturday in early July.
U11 Program
Our program for U11 players runs from mid May until late July. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, players play games representing Embro in the InterCounty League. Fields are approximately three-quarter size of a regulation field. Some games are held in Embro while some games are held in other centres. Games are typically played 9 a side with a referee. U11 Teams participate in a League Tournament on Saturday in mid July
U13 Program
Our program for U13 players runs from mid May until late July. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, players play games presenting Embro in the InterCounty League. Some games are held in Embro while some games are held in other centres. This is the first age group that plays 11 v 11 on a full size field. U13 Teams participate in a League Tournament on Saturday in mid July
U15 Program
Our program for U15 players runs from mid May until late July. Teams represent Embro in the InterCounty League. Games are normally played on Monday evenings. Some games may occur on Friday evenings. At this age levels, scores and league standings are maintained by the league. A League Tournament is held on a Friday Evening and Saturday in Late July.
U17 Program
Our program for U17 players runs from early May until early August. Teams represent Embro in the InterCounty League. Games are normally played on Wednesday evenings. Some games may occur on Friday evenings. At this age levels, scores and league standings are maintained by the league. A League Tournament is held on a Friday Evening and Saturday in early August.
U21 Program
Our program for U21 players runs from early May until early August. On Sunday evenings, players play games representing Embro in the InterCounty League. Games are occasionally played on Friday evenings as well. At this age level, scores and league standings are maintained by the league. League Playoffs for U21 occur in August, with the League Championship occurring in mid August.
